Prof. Roshan Lal Raina

Prof. Roshan Lal Raina is the Vice Chancellor of Jaipur National University since 2021, following two successful terms as Vice Chancellor of JK Lakshmipat University (JKLU), Jaipur. With over 35 years of postgraduate teaching and more than 40 years of leadership and institution-building experience, Dr. Raina is widely recognized as a scholar-administrator of national repute. A Fulbright Scholar, he studied advanced automation and networking at the School of Information Studies, Syracuse University (USA). Dr. Raina has authored and edited 13 best-selling books, published over 250 research papers, and contributed extensively to magazines, newspapers, and blogs. He has presented 118 papers at national and international conferences, and serves on the editorial boards of two professional journals. His areas of expertise include Communication for Management, Corporate and Media Relations, TQM, HRM, IT Applications, and Marketing in the Information Sector. He has conducted over 200 advanced faculty and management development programs, both in India and abroad, with academic engagements in the USA, UK, France, Germany, and Canada-supported by institutions such as the Fulbright Foundation, British Council, Max Mueller Bhawan, and ESCP-EAP. Domestically, he has contributed to initiatives under the Ministry of Agriculture, DSIR, and CSIR, Government of India. Dr. Raina’s contributions have earned him numerous honors, including the Best Employer Award by the Employers’ Association of Rajasthan (2023).
