Prof. C. R. Karisiddappa

An academic leader and classification expert, Prof. Karisiddappa served as Vice-Chancellor of Karnataka State Open University. His scholarly work on knowledge organization and professional ethics influenced LIS practices and education in India. He headed the second Curriculum Development Committee of 2001 which framed the syllabus to bring standardization in LIS education in India.
